The in-between stage
Getting dressed, packing the insurance card, getting to the cardiologist and back. Families are stuck choosing between taking another day off work and moving Mom somewhere she doesn't want to go.
Missed work, long drives, and guilt when you can't be there.
The car shows up. Nobody helps her get ready, walk in, or remember what the doctor said.
A familiar caregiver who gets her ready, goes with her, and sends you updates and notes. Book two hours, not a four-hour shift.
Assisted living or a nursing home, often years before she needs it.
A Penn Medicine study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that offering free rideshare rides did not reduce missed appointments for Medicaid patients. The ride was never the whole problem.
How it works
Browse caregivers and licensed nurses near your parent. See their checks, reviews, services and hourly rate, then book a visit.
Get an update at every step: arrived, ready, at the clinic, heading home, home safe. Message the caregiver anytime.
What the doctor said, what was bought, how she was feeling. Share it with siblings in your care circle and book again in one tap.

Why Tagalong
I'm a student at Eastern Michigan University, and I started Tagalong because too many families are stuck between doing everything themselves and moving a parent out of the home they love. There should be a trusted middle step, and it should be as easy to book as a ride.
We're starting in Washtenaw County and talking with families, caregivers, nurses and care facilities right now. If you want to help shape what we build, join early access. I read every signup.
